Term & Conditions
- DTC Packers and Movers is referred to as the “Company.”
- A “quotation” or “estimate” is a non-binding agreement between the client and the business that is based on terms and conditions that have been mutually agreed upon.
- Regardless of whether he owns the goods or fixtures, the term “customer” refers to the individual who enters into a contract with the business to deliver the services.
- Coins, cash, bank notes, checks, money orders, postal orders, national saving certificates, premium bonds, travel tickets, passports, securities, manuscripts or documents of any kind, jewelry, perishable goods, hazardous materials like crackers, explosives, chemicals, filled gas cylinders, battery acids, and flammable oils like diesel, gasoline, and kerosene are not considered “goods.”
- About Our Services: Particle board furniture, unique furniture, and air conditioners cannot be disassembled or reassembled by the company. It is recommended that clients hire Handyman Services ahead of time for any such materials.
- When moving a car, you must (a) produce a copy of all pertinent paperwork in the transferee’s name or obtain permission from the company to move the vehicle under a different name. (a) To drive on and off the loading and unloading point, vehicles need to have roughly 10 to 15 liters of fuel. (c) Two-wheelers: To prevent spills or leaks during transportation, please empty the gasoline tank and oil fully.
- The services are offered Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., excluding public holidays, throughout the company’s regular business hours. However, by phoning 09355005581, we provide packers and movers services around-the-clock.
- Any moving estimate or quote that the company submits to perform the services will be considered withdrawn after 15 days of being open for acceptance.
- The quotation and all of its terms become legally binding as soon as they are accepted. The company will decide how the services are to be rendered, to the exclusion of the customer. It may change its mind at any time with mutual consent, and the customer will be billed appropriately.
- The deposit for the confirmation or the confirmation advance is lost and will not be reimbursed if the customer cancels the contract.
- In order to conduct the services, the customer must make sure that sufficient access to all pertinent locations is accessible. The consumer can make their own arrangements or pay extra expenses to arrange delivery if the acres are too small for persons or vehicles to move.
- The following are not included in the company’s relocation services: i) Split pickup or repeated pickup and/or deliveries ii) Removing plants or crate any item that isn’t specified in the corresponding quotation iii) Parking fees, society/elevator fees, and long carry iv) Any vehicle detention v) Storage during transportation and any compelled circumstance vi) any applicable state taxes, including Octroi, Mathadi, Toll, Entry Tax, and Labor Union Charges vii) Using the steps above the second floor for delivery or collection (if a service lift is not available) viii) additional handling fees for hoisting or stair carrying objects that are inaccessible by elevator.
- Debris and unpacking materials will be regarded as company property, and the business retains the right to retrieve unpacking materials. The cost of unpacking material is Rs. 75 per carton if the customer keeps it for local moving, or additional transportation fees for material pickup at a later time are at least Rs. 1500 within the city.
- Loss or damage brought on by official, customs, or government confiscation is not covered by the insurance. Additionally, it excludes jewels, cash, deeds, traveler’s checks, plants, gas cylinders, alcoholic drinks, contraband, and other forbidden items, as well as loss or damage to the owner’s packed goods.
- Additionally, insurance does not cover internal damages of any type unless there is proof of external physical damage. Any external damage must be recorded on the packing inventory on the day of delivery. This holds true for all electronic gadgets, including speakers, computers, and more. It is possible to add mechanical or electrical malfunction coverage, with the exception of autos, in writing for a 3% premium increase. For an extra fee, customers can also utilize our wooden crate packing services.
- If goods and/or fixtures are damaged, the company will not be held responsible until it is given a fair chance to evaluate the damage. Claims submitted in writing will always be handled by the third-party insurance agent, not the business.
- The client agrees to refrain from bringing any kind of claim against any of the company’s employees or agents who impose or seek to impose any liability related to the services, and to hold the company harmless from any resulting damages if they do.
- Payment must be made by check or credit card, plus any applicable card fees, before the item is packed or shipped. Credit may be given as a special case with terms and conditions up until the time of delivery. The business retains the right to refuse delivery until full payment is received if the payment is not cleared before delivery.
- The Indian Contract Act of 1872 will be followed in the execution of the work resulting from this quotation. Multiple pick-ups and deliveries are not included unless otherwise noted. Even with the best packing practices, transit hazards should be covered by insurance. You are considered to have self-insured the items if there is no insurance coverage.
